London Marathon 2022: Running for a Cause (or Two)

With less than a week to go, two of our Teneo family members are in the final preparations for the upcoming   2022 TCS London Marathon scheduled for Sunday, October 2. Their bodies are at peak performance from months of training for this 26.2 mile race that will take them past some of the London’s most famous landmarks.

Whether or not, they are participating for a love of running or a personal bucket list, the real reason for their participation is for causes that are close to their hearts.

Hayley, partner to Teneo’s VP of Product, will be at the start line on Sunday to raise funds for the charity, Autism Early Support Trust (formerly the Puzzle Centre). This organization has helped their daughter, as well as countless other young children with autism receive a high quality education.  It also provides therapy and support to families.  To donate to Hayley’s fundraiser for Early Support Trust, visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/hayley-sheppard5.

While some of the race participants will be wearing outrageous costumes, Teneo’s VP of Services, James will be sporting his new SEED Madagascar jersey on the race course. After visiting Madagascar many years ago, James began raising awareness and funding for education and a better way of living for the people of Africa. This is shown in his efforts to help the charity, SEED Madagascar, both on a professional and personal level.  To support James and SEED Madagascar, consider donating to: https://madagascar.enthuse.com/#!/

We wish Hayley and James the best of luck! May you find your happy pace!
