Teneo Recognized with 3 Partner of the Year Awards by Riverbed

Awards Presented at Riverbed Partner Summit 2018

Theale, UK and Dulles, VA, USA – May 8, 2018 – Teneo, the Work From Anywhere IT services company, today announced that it has won the 2017 Riverbed Technology EMEA Solutions Partner of Year Award, the Americas RASP Partner of the Year Award and the Americas Best Marketing Campaign of the Year Award, presented at the Riverbed Partner Summit 2018, the Company’s annual partner conference, on April 30 – May 2 in Huntington Beach, California. The Riverbed Partner Awards recognise partners for excellence in delivering on customer needs and driving business results.

The success comes after Teneo’s annual business with Riverbed grew by 77% in the EMEA region and Teneo’s customer satisfaction (CSAT) grew globally from 99.1% to 99.4% across the 12-month period. Teneo was one of the first to become a Riverbed Authorised Support Partner (RASP) at the origin of the certification, and operates a 24×7 Service Desk across global time zones in a follow-the-sun model. They are the single place to go to for customers that need individual consultancy and agile, yet experienced, global delivery of Riverbed’s technology.

Growth of Teneo’s Riverbed operation in 2017 was further accelerated in the USA through the acquisition of Management Communication Services LLC (MCS), extending Teneo’s Riverbed sales and engineering reach nationwide and expanding its base of customers.

In the second half of 2017, Teneo demonstrated innovation around the Riverbed Digital Performance Platform by launching a series of ‘as a Service’ offerings, which jigsaw together to form a foundation that supports customers’ Digital Transformation initiatives:

  • SD-WAN as a Service, which allows customers to quickly deploy expert-level SD-WAN capabilities, fill in-house skill gaps & make SD-WAN a lower-risk, dynamic change agent in their organization at a predictable monthly cost.
  • WAN Optimization as a Service, which brings customers the latest performance features of WAN Optimization without the capital outlay or associated workload.
  • Visibility as a Service, which increases customers’ performance insight and speeds up network, application and end user experience troubleshooting without customers needing to commit to extra people resource or capital outlay; and
  • SaaS Optimization as a Service, where customers can accelerate the delivery of SaaS applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce.com and Box, to remote and mobile workforces.

Both Teneo and Riverbed recognise the growing need for customers to consume Riverbed’s award-winning technology ‘as a Service’ – a model where customers can gain quick competitive advantage by avoiding the upfront Capital expenditure (Capex) cost on the acquisition of the technology itself.

Instead, customers can achieve more consistent and predictable cash flow by leveraging their Operational expenditure (Opex) budgets. Business risk is further minimised through Teneo’s agile, global deployment services and ongoing management, which form an integral part of Teneo’s ‘as a Service’ cost model.

Digital Transformation already sees customers transitioning to Opex purchase models with Software as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service. With the support of the Riverbed Rise partner programme, Riverbed and Teneo are now enabling customers with the early adoption of this consumption model in the areas of Digital Experience, Cloud Networking and Cloud Edge.

On receiving the Partner of the Year Awards for 2017, Teneo CEO Piers Carey commented, “I’m extremely thrilled to receive these awards in our fourteenth year of partnership with Riverbed. I’d like to congratulate and thank our whole company for making this happen.” He added, “2017 was a phenomenal year for Teneo, with our ‘as a Service’ launches and impressive growth, for our customers as they embark on Digital Transformation initiatives, and for our partnership with Riverbed, which continues to strengthen worldwide. This is truly a result of our team’s global collaboration and innovation through our strategy of ‘Services First’ and places us in an ideal position for further growth through 2018.”

“With these awards, we recognize and congratulate Teneo’s performance and achievements as a Riverbed partner the past year, and look forward to continuing to work together to meet the needs of our joint customers,” said Bridget Bisnette, Vice President, Global Channels and Commercial Sales at Riverbed. “The Riverbed Partner Awards celebrate our partners’ achievements and exemplify how together we deliver industry-leading solutions to maximize digital performance.  We have an extraordinary opportunity in front of us, with the new Riverbed Rise program, for Riverbed and partners to lead businesses forward as they modernize their IT architecture to take full advantage of cloud and mobile technologies and accelerate their digital strategies.”
