The following policy explains how we collect, store and use your personal data and any associated information when you engage with us, transact with us and when you visit our website. Your personal data
Collecting very specific, relevant data is a necessary part of us being able to provide you with the products and services you purchase from us. It also enables us to answer your inquiries and provide you with the information you request.
We treat the personal data we collect, process or use, fairly and securely and we will never do anything with it that you have not clearly agreed to (such as sharing it with any other party), or that could be considered irresponsible.

We collect personal data from you (and your organization) from other companies within the Teneo Group and from these sources:

- In documents relating to our services, e.g. SOWs, site surveys, customer handbooks

How do we use your personal data?
Data Protection law says that we are permitted to use personal data only if we have a proper reason to do so. This includes sharing it outside of Teneo. The law says we must have one or more of these reasons:

- To fulfil a contract we have with you
- When it’s our legal obligation
- When it’s in our legitimate interest
A legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your data. We will always act in a way that is in your best interest.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data to others.
We might use your personal data to tell you about relevant products and services. The personal data we hold for you is made up of what you tell us, and the data we collect about you and your organization when you interact with us, or we receive from third parties we work with. We study this to form a view on what we think you might want or need, or what might be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products and services might be relevant to you and your organization.
We can only use your personal data to send you marketing messages if we have either your consent or a legitimate interest, which must not unfairly go against what is right and best for you. You can update your marketing communication preferences by clicking the ‘update your marketing preferences’ link in the footer of any marketing emails you receive from us. Whatever you choose, you’ll still receive invoices, documentation that forms part of our service to you, and other important information such as updates and changes to your existing products and services.
Retention of your personal data
We will retain your personal data for as long as your organization is a customer of Teneo Inc. After your organization stops being a customer, we may keep your data for up to 5 years from the last interaction we have with you.
We may keep your data for longer than 5 years from our last interaction with you if we can’t delete it for legal or technical reasons. We may also keep it for research or statistical purposes. If we do, we will make sure that your privacy is protected and only use it for those purposes.
Letting us know if your personal data is incorrect
We endeavour to keep your personal data accurate and up to date. If you become aware of errors or inaccuracies, please email firstname.lastname@example.org We’ll take reasonable steps to check its accuracy and correct it.
How to request access to the personal data we hold

Your right to object and right to erasure
