Recognizing Thriving Solution Providers in the IT Channel

Dulles, VA, August 9, 2018 – Teneo, the Work From Anywhere IT services company, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Teneo at number 4 on its 2018 CRN Fast Growth 150 list. The list is CRN’s annual ranking of North America-based technology integrators, solution providers and IT consultants with gross sales of at least $1 million that have experienced significant economic growth over the past two years. The 2018 list is based on an increase of gross revenue between 2015 and 2017. The companies recognized this year represent a remarkable combined total revenue of more than $50 billion.

As digital transformation races ahead, no industry is immune. Since 2000, 52 percent of companies in the Fortune 500 have either gone bankrupt, been acquired, or ceased to exist as a result of digital disruption[1]. Teneo helps companies to avoid this fate and instead gain competitive advantage. By scouring the market for new networking and security technologies, such as SD-WAN, and delivering these ‘as a Service’, companies partnering with Teneo can achieve digital transformation faster and with minimized risk.

Teneo has grown by 346.28 percent in the past two years. The company recently bought UK-based Geode Networks Europe Ltd. The acquisition brings Teneo greater services capabilities, as well as network and application expertise, including consultancy, professional services and support services. The purchase will augment the delivery of Teneo’s SD-WAN, visibility and digital experience monitoring as-a-service offerings.

Teneo CEO, Piers Carey, commented, “To be recognized in CRN’s 2018 Solution Provider 500 list and now in the 2018 CRN Fast Growth 150 list in quick succession demonstrates our ability to adapt to our customers changing needs as they move through digital transformation. It also highlights the exceptional growth we’ve seen at Teneo over the last two years.”

He added, “We’ve hired outstanding talent and concluded multiple acquisitions, which have accelerated our routes to market and provided us with augmented skillsets and reach within our customers’ geographies. Our agile approach has also enabled us to launch six new ‘As a Service’ offerings, leading with SD-WAN as a Service and most recently Digital Experience Monitoring as a Service, to help customers take advantage of Opex budgets.”

He concluded, “I’m especially proud of our culture, cemented by our mission, ‘Opening Minds to New Possibilities,’ which inspires customers through our ridiculously good service, furthers employee development, and provides education to children in Africa through our CSR projects. Our placing at number 4 in CRN’s 2018 Fast Growth 150 list is a fantastic achievement for Teneo and I look forward to further growth through our financial year ending 2019.”

“The 2018 CRN Fast Growth 150 list features companies that are growing in an ever-changing, challenging market,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “As traditional solution providers are moving towards a services-focused business model, this extraordinary group have been able to successfully adapt; outperforming competitors and proving themselves as channel leaders. We are pleased to recognize these organizations and look forward to their continued success.”
