Our school building partner, SEED Madagascar is spearheading Project Fanaka to revitalize local education. This project aims to construct 510 desk-benches, enhancing learning spaces for over 11,000 students across 15 schools.

The SEED team, bolstered by a significant lumber delivery, has converted their office garden into a vibrant workshop. Here, skilled carpenters are diligently preparing materials for the first batch of desks, set to transform classrooms at Tanambao Lower Secondary School – a location identified with critical needs. This will ensure that more than 300 students will no longer have to sit on the floor during classes.

In a remarkable gesture of community support, many Teneo employees opted to donate to this project, redirecting their holiday perks towards this noble cause. Their contributions are playing a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition.

This is more than just building benches; it’s about building futures. Every desk we add to a classroom is a step towards a better, more inclusive education system.
