At Teneo, our Purpose Beyond Profit initiatives drive us to invest in education projects that help some of the world’s poorest children escape a life of poverty through education.
As part of our goal to improve the lives of 1 million children worldwide, we’re proud to have supported the construction of a new school in Antahovary, in proud partnership with SEED Madagascar, and to announce that it is now complete!
The new three-classroom school – fully furnished with desks, blackboards, and storage – now provides a safe and dignified learning environment to enhance access to and quality of education. The new attached teacher accommodation supports staff livelihoods and improves teacher attendance by reducing long travel distances.

Additionally, SEED has built five gender-segregated latrines, a menstrual hygiene management (MHM) facility, and handwashing and drinking stations. These facilities ensure access to clean water and empower girls to manage their menstruation safely.
To offset construction emissions, SEED Madagascar also planted 377 Moringa trees, which will later provide food for the community.
A huge thank you to SEED, the Antahovary community, and to our customers, partners, and employees for making this incredible milestone possible.
