Justin Madison Nominated for Big Brother of the Year
Richmond, VA, July 7, 2017 – Senior Solutions Engineer for Teneo, Justin Madison, has been nominated for Big Brother of the Year by local non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc. As a Big of the Year honoree, Justin and his Little Brother, Omar, will be featured in various media outlets such as newsletters, solicitations, and social media distributed by Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc. through 2018.
Over 50 guests are expected to attended the Big of the Year Celebration honoring five nominees at Troutman Saunders on Wednesday, August 2nd. Executive Director Ann Rohde Payes explains that the 2017 honorees were selected out of 700 mentors from throughout the region based on nominations by their Littles. The Celebration will share Big Brothers Big Sisters mission and outcomes with donors and potential volunteers to encourage further support of one-to-one mentoring relationships.
Each year Big Brothers Big Sisters honors top mentors who have demonstrated commitment to our mission of creating life-changing friendships. “Each honoree has been caring, consistent and compassionate, allowing their Little to have a positive vision for the future. Justin Madison has been especially powerful in promoting academic success and has encouraged his little to work hard and follow his dreams of attending college at Virginia Tech,” says Payes.
