Local team sponsorship

We actively encourage requests for sponsorship from colleagues, customers and suppliers to support the charities and causes that matter to them. Here are some of the most recent sponsorships:

Our colleague Duncan Gray climbed Kilimanjaro in aid of Clic Sargant, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families. It provides clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help cope with cancer and get the most out of life. It aims to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and in some cases, bereavement.

Sisters of our colleague, IT Analyst, Alistair Fenning, raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK by running a musical event, which we sponsored.

Our customer Neil Greetham from Wates trekked to Everest Base Camp in aid of Barnardos and was sponsored by us.

Our customer Adrian Joseph from Plan International trekked up Mount Snowdon in aid of Peterson’s Fund for Children, which we sponsored.

We’ve also supported activities ranging from the ridiculous (one colleague raised money for Plan International through a sponsored chilli burger eat-a-thon) to the even more ridiculous (another usually chatty colleague raised money through a sponsored silence).

Amongst the ridiculous money spinning ideas were some more sensible ones, including a team that entered the Race for Life and some 10k runs.
