Content Marketing Manager (Part Time)

Location: Theale, UK

Based in Theale, UK, the Content Marketing Manager will support the sales and marketing operations by developing Challenger insights and creating supportive, engaging content for use in the field and across Teneo’s digital infrastructure.


  • Build out corporate content marketing plan
  • Create compelling insights in the style of The Challenger Sale
  • Use insights to create engaging, high quality content using a variety of media including cold emails, news and blog posts, social posts, videos, customer success stories, datasheets and whitepapers
  • Work with the services team to produce content for new service launches
  • Work with sales & pre-sales team to collect stories & anecdotes from the field to fold into content strategy
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns with the wider marketing team
  • Provide content to support global events
  • Manage customer reference program
  • Maintain Teneo’s website and social media channels
  • Enforce our brand guidelines across all communications channels
  • Communicate content plan and availability to others


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a focus on B2B and IT services marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably qualification in creative writing, advertising, communication or journalism
  • Track record of creating content that supports emotional storytelling
  • History of successfully working in partnership with sales organizations
  • Proven ability to create horizontal and vertical content
  • Experience of global content creation in multiple languages


  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in virtual teams
  • Well-organized, resourceful logical and efficient with outstanding project management skills
  • Knowledge of the networking, security and line of business application markets
  • Understands IT personas and can tailor messages to the target audience
  • Outstanding copywriting and creative skills
  • Excellent proofreader with high attention to detail
  • Understanding of current and emerging digital marketing platforms and trends
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and video editing software
  • Familiarity with CMS, Google Analytics and knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Good knowledge of CRM and marketing automation processes and technologies
  • Accustomed to creating marketing content in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
