NNT - Enterprise Change and Configuration Management
NNT Change Tracker provides complete control of virtual and physical IT configurations, combining configuration assessment & performance monitoring with change control & auditing in a single software solution.
Configuration assessment proactively assesses and validates IT configurations against a pre-set baseline & policy to fulfil compliance requirements and security best practices.
Once the IT team has configuration settings, health and performance for all devices into a known, good state, Change Tracker helps them maintain it, detecting and alerting IT to any changes and isolating the exact change, who made it and whether or not that change was approved or unapproved. The easy to use web based interface provides immediate visual feedback on IT infrastructure health, performance, configuration and changes to assist with the delivery of reliable and compliant IT service.
- Is your Change Management Process bypassed, undocumented, unseen and potentially problematic?
- How do you back up the configuration of your network devices?

- How do you ensure all Servers are compliant with your defined Configuration Policy?
Gartner assesses that 80% of unplanned downtime is due to people and process issues.
Change Tracker Enterprise provides a ‘change & configuration management safety net’ for all servers, PCs and network devices. Any configuration change made is recorded automatically, detailing what was changed, when and by whom.
Integrating with Castle Rock SNMPc means it is easy to set-up and you get peace of mind that all changes will be highlighted through your usual event management console.
How does it work?
Network Devices Change Tracker interrogates all key networked devices for configuration and status information. This means all device configurations are regularly backed up automatically and any time a configuration setting is changed, you know what was changed, when and by whom.
Any type of network device is supported, regardless of manufacturer, making this a universal solution to preventing loss of service resulting from bad configuration changes.
Servers and Desktops a Configuration Policy is implemented governing performance and configuration status, including installed programs, user accounts, processes, services, registry settings and vital signs (cpu, memory, disk and network performance). For example, a PC where an unauthorised program has been installed, or where a mandatory processes is not running (for instance, anti virus package) will be highlighted.
