SNMPc Online
SNMPc Online 2009 is a Web based Portal that is an “add on” product for SNMPc Enterprise and Workgroup.
Included in the latest version are a number of new features that make it easier to use and integrate into SNMPc.
Key Features Include:
- Display of the SNMPc map allowing you to quickly see the status of all devices.
- Reports can be emailed both on demand and as a schedule. (Email a report every week for example) to save time in creating them manually.
- Automatic reporting now allows you to create a report for 'All devices' or a subset based on a node group. (For example you could create a report based on 'All Routers' rather than manually adding devices to a report. This new function also means there is no longer a limit of 20 devices per report).
- Support for 64bit platforms. SQL Express 64bit is now included.
- After 60 days turns into SNMPc OnLine 2009 Express which has no expiration timeout and is free to all customers with valid maintenance. SNMPc Online 2009 Express offers some of the great features of SNMPc Online 2009 but is limited in some areas.

- A subnet map can be displayed on the summary page.
- Dynamic pan/zoom controls added to graphic map views.
- Old log events archived.
- Wide variety of reporting styles including ‘rev counters’ and 3d graphs.
- Different reporting styles and data types can be combined in the same view.
- Ability to link reports together and ‘drill into data’.
- Pre-Canned report templates for common devices.
- Users can define their own reports and dashboard views.
- Reports are updated automatically as data is received by SNMPc.
- User/Customer restricted views.
- Unlimited number of reports.
- Ability to record any SNMP variable from any device.
- Reports can be exported directly into an Excel Spreadsheet.
- Web interface can be easily branded with customer logos, color schemes etc.
- Visio Diagram Support.
SNMPc Online provides ‘out of the box’ automated collection and presentation of pre-canned reports that deliver key network metrics regardless of vendor or geographic location. Seamless dashboard style webpages cover SLA metrics such as availability and latency, device types such as routers, switches and servers and vendor specific information for manufacturers including Cisco.
Using a simple GUI interface SNMPc Online users can easily design or adapt new dashboard views. A wide variety of graphs, charts and reporting styles are offered. Building a custom front end enables network managers to deliver automated personalized content to everyone in the organization that requires it. From the same platform CTOs can be provided with a single screen high level overview of network service levels while regional engineers are provided with detailed troubleshooting information.
The addition of the SNMPc Online module allows Castle Rock Computing to deliver a single source network management solution capable of scaling from as few as fifty devices to tens of thousands.
Network managers can use SNMPc OnLine 2009 and Microsoft Visio® to create a graphical representation of their network infrastructure, presenting a highly customized management interface from any web browser.
