Teneo partners with Riverbed to demonstrate up to 100x application acceleration at IP Expo 2008

Teneo, a leading infrastructure optimisation specialist, will be providing live demonstrations of Riverbed Steelhead® appliances to show how end users can benefit from up to 100 times(x) application performance improvements on stand #329 at IP Expo 2008 (IP’08).
Teneo will be exhibiting for the first time at Europe's leading IP and Convergence event, IP Expo 2008 (1-2 October 2008, Earls Court 2). At the event, Teneo will be partnering with wide-area data services market leader, Riverbed Technology to demonstrate its Riverbed Steelhead appliances.
Teneo has extensive experience in helping its customers to dramatically improve their application performance using products such as Riverbed Steelhead applicances rather than simply relying on adding more and more expensive bandwidth. Teneo’s solutions help improve the performance of applications that companies and knowledge workers rely on every day - including file sharing, email, backup, document management systems, IT tools, as well as ERP and CRM solutions. Solutions using Riverbed Steelhead help accelerate applications by somewhere between 5 and up to 100 times faster.
The popularity of these solutions continues to grow and Teneo has this year achieved a key milestone of installing 1,000 Riverbed Steelhead appliances for over 100 customers. As a mark of Teneo’s success, it was recently awarded ‘Northern European Reseller of the Year’ from Riverbed. Teneo has also recently announced turnover of £8 million as a group of companies for the year ending 30th June 2008, showing substantial growth on the previous year.
One of Teneo’s recent solutions has also been shortlisted for a Channel Network Award, backed by IT Europa and Channel Business Solutions magazines. Teneo achieved its shortlisting in the ‘Innovative New Application Solution’ category, with a solution for its client NPS Property Consultants. Teneo deployed a Riverbed application optimisation solution, installing Riverbed Steelhead appliances to increase application performance by 50% and delivering a return on investment of £600,000. The solution has allowed NPS to execute a centralisation plan by removing local servers and creating a central data centre structure.
