Teneo’s Management team consists of:
Piers Carey, CEO
Piers Carey co-founded Teneo in March 2000 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors as well as Chief Executive Officer. Initially Piers was responsible for Sales and Marketing at Teneo until April 2003 when he took up his current position.
Prior to joining Teneo Piers worked for Jade Communications as Sales Manager where he was responsible for running a focused team. During this time the team successfully closed several big-ticket sales with customers such as BT and Cable & Wireless. Before Jade Piers held various sales positions within RGB Trinet over a period of 4 years.
Piers received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours from the University of Reading in Geography and English.
James Hall, Marketing Director
James has 16 years experience within the IT sector holding a number of senior sales and marketing positions.
James joined Teneo in 2003 to spearhead the company’s aggressive marketing push focusing on increasing the profile of Teneo and running lead generation campaigns.
Prior to Teneo, James was appointed Marketing Director at ML Enterprise in 1998 a division of ML Integration which was successfully acquired by Cable & Wireless in 1999.
James received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours from the University of Reading in European Literature & Philosophy.
Richard Jones, Sales Director
Richard has 15 years commercial experience holding a number of purchasing and sales positions in the private and public sector.
Richard joined Teneo in 2000 and undertook a series of development roles, helping to set up Teneo’s network of partners and driving sales of its key products and solutions.
Richard was appointed Sales Director in 2008 and has overall responsibility for Teneo’s sales team.
Marc Sollars, Technical Director
Marc has 17 years experience within the IT sector holding a number of systems engineer roles within both the public sector and IT channel.
Marc joined Teneo’s technical team as one of the original employees in 2000 and took over the role as Technical Director in 2003. With his extensive knowledge of the Teneo product portfolio Marc is responsible for all pre and post sales Technical activity.
